March 2006
FINALLY! I hear you say. She has finally got around to updating that homepage of hers. Well, the last update was in May 2004 so I guess you are right. Toby started school in September 2004 at the British School Netherlands.
In the meantime he had moved from Reception to Year 1 where he is reading, writing and doing maths etc. Scary! At that age I was at Kindergarten at Calgery Church in Damansara Heights (before it became a real sectlike place). He is loving school but still gets all shy and useless in situations with strangers or even when he decides he will not speak in dutch to people he knows fairly well. Sigh!
Hugo is great. He is now 2.5 and a cheeky little thing. 90cm tall and about 14kg. So he is getting rather heavy for me to carry. He is in the phase of "Mummy is the best" but hopefully it will eventually relax!
The most recent thing we did was go skiing in Are, Sweden.
Before that we ditched the cold winter and headed off to Malaysia for Christmas. Fabulous holiday where we saw lots of wildlife. I would recommend a trip up the Kinabatangan River to see the Proboscis Monkeys. I think we will need to spend more time in Sabah again. Great place to visit.
In 2005 what did we do? I went on an Earthwatch adventure (Earthwatch Institute) to Kenya. We spent our summer in Croatia. Easter we were in Malaysia. And the ski holiday of that year was in Mt. Tremblant in Canada.
So there is plenty for you to check out. (This means that I have plenty to do)!
